Here you can find various media to help you with the specific needs of different cell types. By using these media, you are assured of a consistent, quality environment for your studies. All media is available in Phenol Red-Free version as well upon request. You can also find salt solutions and water as well as supplements and reagents.

The specialized media are complete media designed for optimal growth of specific normal tissue in vitro. All media are sterile, liquid medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors and trace minerals. The media are bicarbonate buffered and haves a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5 % CO₂/95 % air. They are formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide a defined and optimally balanced nutritional environment that selectively promotes proliferation and growth of the cells in vitro.

The classical media are developed for growth of a broad range of cell types.
